More openings mean more rules to follow, though, so things may seem just as confusing as to when places first started closing in march of 2020, Doge’s Palace in open? Saint Mark’s Basilica is open? Let you know what’s open in Venice right now.

Since things still aren’t quite normal, we suggest brushing up on what you can and can’t do in Venice. Also, just because places can be open doesn’t mean they are or will be, so make sure to check with the individual things that you may be interested in visiting. What’s open in Venice?

From Monday 26 April:

  • Doge’s Palace every day from 10.00 to 18.00 (last admission at 17.00)
  • Correr Museum every day from 11.00 to 17.00 (last admission at 17.00)
  • Teatro La Fenice – “Verdi & La Fenice”, at 19:00 p.m.
  • Musica a Palazzo – “La Traviata”, Shows start at 8.30

From Thursday 29 April:

  • The Jewish Museum of Venice. Opening 29th, 30th April, and 2nd May

From Friday 30 April:

  • Glass Museum in Murano from Friday to Sunday, from 11.00 to 17.00
  • Lace Museum in Burano from Friday to Sunday, from 12.00 to 16.00
  • Ca’ Pesaro – International Gallery of Modern Art from Friday to Sunday, from 11.00 to 17.00
  • Palazzo Mocenigo Museum from Friday to Sunday, from 11.00 to 17.00
  • Ca’ Rezzonico – Museum of 18th century Venice from Friday to Sunday, from 11.00 to 17.00
  • Natural History Museum of Venice Giancarlo Ligabue from Friday to Sunday, from 11.00 to 17.00
  • Carlo Goldoni’s House from Friday to Sunday, from 12.00 to 16.00
