Actv is the main public transport provider for the urban area of Venice and the suburban area up to Padua, Treviso, and Rovigo.
The fleets
Actv provides transport services on both land and water. The company has fleets of water- and land buses for services in the center, suburbs, and out of town.
The waterborne fleet
This is composed of about 160 craft and approximately a hundred pontoon boarding points. In detail, the types of craft in the fleet are larger water buses, smaller water buses, single-agent water buses, offshore motor-boats, foot-passenger ferries ( for carrying large numbers of passengers), and car ferries (for vehicle transportation).
Considering the extent of the area served, there are many travel solutions available at various prices.
