The Orchestra de I Musici Veneziani, born from the selection of the most talented musicians and singers of Venetian birth or training, was founded in 1996 with the aim of reviving the artistic and cultural tradition of the heyday of the Most Serene Republic of Venice.

Specializing in the interpretation of the classical-operatic musical production of the centuries between the 18th and 19th centuries, the Orchestra owes its fame to the faithful and brilliant performance that makes each concert an unforgettable moment. The performances, ennobled by the splendid period costumes and jewels fashioned from 18th-century sketches, are held in the marvelous Salone Capitolare of the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro, now the most prestigious private concert hall in Venice.
